Key things to know about the dental plans

The Rollins Dental Plans cover all four main types of dental expenses.

  • Preventive and diagnostic care (routine exams and cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, x-rays)
  • Basic treatment (pulling teeth, fillings and some oral surgeries)
  • Major treatment (dentures, bridges and crowns, and some oral surgeries)
  • Orthodontia (braces and other appliances for children and adults)

If you have a chronic condition you may be eligible for extra dental cleanings. See the Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program flyer for detailed information.

With the Basic Plus and Enhanced dental plans, you can see any dentist you want, whether or not they are in the network. Out-of-network care is reimbursed at the maximum allowable charge. If you see a network dentist, you save money because:

  • Network dentists discount their services.
  • Network dentists agree not to charge more than the discounted rate so you never receive a “balance due” bill.

The DHMO plan offers cost savings and convenience. The plan has no deductible, no coinsurance and no maximums. The DHMO plan offers a patient charge schedule and there are no claims to file. However, you can only see dentists in the network. In order to enroll in the DHMO plan, there must be at least two DHMO dentists within 25 miles of your home address.

For members residing in Georgia or those enrolled in the DHMO, once you're enrolled in a dental plan, you can log on to www.mycigna.com to print your ID card. You can select the option to print ID cards either from the "profile" or "I want to" links.

Your specific premiums per pay period will be displayed as you’re enrolling on the enrollment site. Or, you can click see what you’ll pay now.

To find a network dentist go to www.mycigna.com.

Visit the Cigna website to get answers to your questions about covered services, find network providers, view dental claims, and compare dental offices and services. DPPO members can schedule appointments online and compare fees for specific services.
